Purchase Instructions

This extensive suite of utility functions is designed to assist the software developer by providing shortcuts for common tasks. These utility may be acquired as follows:

Standard Library ($199)

The standard library is completely contained in TISLIBP.DLL. It includes the three categories of stand-alone functions, Conversion, Utility, and COBOL, as well as the Classes. This library is the basis for all other utility functions and must be purchased in addition to any other package except where noted.

Heading, Library, and Link Files ($99)

For the developer, the TISLIB.H file contains the C++ headers for all library functions and may be included in your StdAfx.h application file. For linking, the TISLIBP.LIB and TISLIBP.EXP files will also be included. The TISLIBP.DLL file, which is purchased separately, may be shipped with any application you develop that uses it.

Stand-alone Programs ($79)

These programs are contained in a utility folder which will need to be added to the PATH environment variable. Conversely, they may also be placed in a utility folder of your own choosing which is already in the PATH environment variable. Many of these programs require the TISLIBP.DLL file, which is purchased separately.

Command Prompt Abbreviations ($19): These files are contained in the same utility folder as the Stand-alone Programs. They may also be placed in a utility folder of your own choosing. Many of these programs require use of the Stand-alone Programs, which must be purchased separately.

Standard Library, Programs, and Compiler Files ($366)

You can save $30.00 by purchasing all four of the previous packages. This includes TISLIBP.DLL, TISLIB.H, TISLIBP.LIB, TISLIBP.EXP, and the complete utility folder.

Windows NT Library ($49)

This library is contained in TISLIBN.DLL. For linking, the TISLIBN.LIB and TISLIBN.EXP files will also be included. The TISLIBP.LIB and TISLIBP.EXP files, which are purchased separately, are required when linking with TISLIBN.LIB and TISLIBN.EXP. The TISLIBN.DLL file, which is included, and the TISLIBP.DLL file, which is purchased separately, may be shipped with any application you develop that uses it.

COBOL Library ($189)

This library is contained in TISLIBO.DLL. For linking, the TISLIBO.LIB and TISLIBO.EXP files will also be included. The TISLIBP.LIB and TISLIBP.EXP files, which are purchased separately, are required when linking with TISLIBO.LIB and TISLIBO.EXP. The TISLIBO.DLL file, which is included, and the TISLIBP.DLL file, which is purchased separately, may be shipped with any application you develop that uses it.

COBOL Interface ($89): This library is contained in TISLIBQ.DLL. For linking, the TISLIBQ.LIB and TISLIBQ.EXP files will also be included. The TISLIBO.LIB, TISLIBO.EXP, TISLIBP.LIB, and TISLIBP.EXP files, which are purchased separately, are required when linking with TISLIBQ.LIB and TISLIBQ.EXP. The TISLIBQ.DLL file, which is included, and the TISLIBO.DLL and TISLIBP.DLL files, which are purchased separately, may be shipped with any application you develop that uses it.

Complete Library including Source Code ($9,999)

If source code is purchased, all the TISLIB*.DLL, TISLIB*.LIB, and TISLIB*.EXP files, the entire Visual C++ application folder, the entire NetExpress application folder, and the entire utility folder will be distributed. There are no other modules required with this purchase. In addition, purchasing this module includes an unrestricted license to modify the code and distribute the resulting TISLIB*.DLL files as well as including the modules in your own programs.

The price includes a perpetual license to use the specified software on one single-user personal computer. Site licenses are also available. If compiler files are included, the price includes a perpetual license for use by one developer but also includes an unlimited license to distribute the associated Dynamic Link Library file(s) with your application. Under no circumstance is permission ever granted to redistribute any source code, header files, or linker files. Unless otherwise specified, all software will be shipped on a CD.
